@dcartwright – strange things going bump in the night with the upgraded version of this plugin …
Using WPMU 2.9.1.1, BP 1.2 stable, PHP 5.2+ (a mirror install of production site)This time, when I try to upload an image file, my login page comes to the forefront of the page occupying 1/3 of the screen vertically. Hmm.
Clicked on the ”back” button to go back to previous screen and I am directed to the group’s wiki main page.
Logged out, cleared cookies/cache. I am using Firefox. WPMU 2.9.1.1, BP 1.2 stable, PHP 5.2+ (same as my production site)
Logged in again and try to upload an image and the same thing happens again – my black-themed login screen appears in center of screen.I replicated some of the testing I made on this site on to said install used for testing and all’s well except uploading the images.
Do you have a site admin login I could have a play with on there?
Also, is it a fresh install of 1.2 version of the groupwiki plugin or an upgrade from 1.0 or 1.2?
Also, the plugin has only really been tested on subdirectory installs so if it’s a subdomain install you’re running i’m not sure how well things work, sorry
Yes, the upgrade I made was from 1.0 to 1.1 and … there’s a 1.2 version? My bad, I didn’t get the nag to update the plugin because that specific test install’s offline. Will report back when I’ve upgraded to 1.2. There’s hope!
And yes, I’ve got a subdomain install but BP is installed in main site where I’m testing all the plugins/ themes. Got another subdomain test install where I checked out some plugins including your plugin’s 1.0 version. Will get it going and let you know.

I have a feeling that an error I made in 1.0/1.1 might have adverse effects on previous wiki installs. Basically, newly created wikis should be okay but on the older ones you may need to manually update the domain/path for the wiki blog in the site admin backend.

Hi DCartwright – upgraded GWP to 1.2. As you had expected, uploading images still didn’t work even when I created a new Group Wiki.
1st solution – didn’t work
- Deactivate GWP 1.2, then delete two blogs created respectively by GWP v1.0 and GWP v 1.2 from Site Admin and Database. Reactivate GWP 1.2 and create new Wiki from same group – done. But Site Admin cannot create a new wiki page at all. Also, when trying to edit Wiki – box with red background with text saying that I (site admin) do not have permission to edit the wiki and/or wiki page.2nd solution – delactivate BP and BP plugins. Then since this was a test install only, drop all BP/BB tables via phpMyAdmin. ”Reinstall” BP and plugins. Created new Group plus Wiki. Can embed video but still can’t upload images because the wp-login.php keeps going to front of the monitor. I disabled Branded Login Plugin, still no go. Disabled Maintenance Mode Plugin, still no go. Hmm… sending you PM re Site Admin..

BP trunk-r2639 included wp_list_pages in BP navigation bar….…ith test install of WordPress 3.0-alpha along with BuddyPress 1.2 trunk version with vanilla 1.2 bp-default theme, the XML import of content in WPMU used as CMS rendered this:…… links for BP components then action for bp_nav_items. Checking out updating of Wiki Pages. Will be creating a Group and Wiki Page for Group Activity Email Notifications plugin by @dcartwright….… I thought previous test in other wiki page proved that styling of cut and paste copy from MSWord docs won’t get styled here … or doesn’t that apply to header tags? hmmm…….- Simon posted a new activity comment: %sOk one more group I need to remove notification emails hehe
- D Cartwright posted a new activity comment: %sI guess a nice future enhancement would be a way to set default settings for all your own groups (rather than site-wide defaults set by the site admin), and the choice to apply those default settings to all your current groups or not.

Ah, there are a few things that need to be sorted in regards to images/attachments. Captions and the wordpress method of editing images that have already been inserted.

Uploaded image using media interface where I added caption for the image. Caption did not show up under image in Wiki page.
